The Gordon Room is available for meetings & lunches weekdays and can seat up to 18 guests boardroom style.

Open Monday to Friday, 11.30am – 2.30pm and from 4.30pm for after work drinks, providing a comfortable place to relax with friends, meet with business colleagues or prepare for your next meeting in the city. Relax and enjoy the end of the week with Members and your guests at drinks after work on a Friday when the Club provides complimentary cheese platters.

For corporate events, weddings, birthdays and anniversary dinners, club and school awards dinners, or morning and afternoon teas for christenings and wakes. Members receive a generous discount on the Venue Hiring Fee applicable for any functions booked.

ASSOCIATE

Ladies and gentlemen under the age of 35 who reside within 50 kms of the Townsville CBD Post Office

SPOUSE

The spouse or partner of a Town Member

Town and Country Members have full voting rights, while Associate Members do not have voting rights. Senior membership status is achieved on the 30th anniversary of membership and results in a 50% reduction in membership fees, Veteran membership status is achieved on the 40th anniversary of membership and results in a further 50% reduction in fees. Town and Associate Members have the option to pay their membership fees annually or quarterly in advance. Country Members are required to pay annually in advance. Club financial years run from the 1st July to the 30th June. If you join mid-year as a Town or Associate Member we recommend you sign up initially for a quarterly membership and then convert to an annual membership for the new year. If you join mid-year as a Country Member, payment will be required for the remaining months of the current fiscal year on a pro-rata basis for the remaining full months. NOMINATION PROCESS

To apply for a membership, you must follow the below steps:

1. Request an existing club member to nominate you

2. Three other club members must second your application

3. Submit your nomination form and payment details to the Club Secretary, care of the Club Manager.

4. Your nomination form is displayed in the Club over at least two weeks

5. After this period, your nomination is submitted to the Committee for consideration

6. Immediately after a Committee meeting the Club Manager will write to the applicant confirming acceptance of application and
payment for membership will be processed.

RECIPROCAL CLUBS

The Club has reciprocal agreements with approximately 100 clubs across the world that offer accommodation, dining and entertainment options.

Members from Reciprocal Clubs visiting Townsville are able to access discounted accommodation from our local accommodation partners, Quest Townsville (located in Palmer Street in the city) and Quest Townsville on Eyre (located in Leichhardt Street, North Ward).
